I believe that always in the Latin American movies has tried to represent the
idiosyncrasies of a time in each Latin American country. Therefore,
not only good looks of the new directors, but always tried to reflect the Latin American culture Latin director’s films.
The
main problems are represented in Latin
American films are:
inequality through a continuous contrast
between rich and poor. Crime (as Taxi para tres”), poverty (as “Huachos”), injustice
(as “El secreto de sus ojos”, violence, corruption (especially
with the police, as “Tropa de Elite”) and sexual problems (as “Joven y Alocada”).
Were also represented Latin jails as “Carandirú”.
Chilean commercial cinema is not representative enough of the problems
of this country. There is a non-commercial film (which is often at a loss and works
with donations) that much better represented in Chilean society, unfortunately,
when exposed in large theaters, have little public (for the little publicity they
have) and which is generally ABC1.
Happens too many times in many movies
SANFIC occur Chilean
and very good, but
they only have one function in
its existence. Or given Chilean films or documentaries on a so-called "VIP lounges" where audiences are up
40 people and entrance is much more expensive, which discourages people Chilean movies.
